Major Supreme Court Ruling Changes U.S. Elections
A major Supreme Court decision will change the way campaigns for Congress and the President are run.
Supporters of the decision have called it a victory for free speech. Opponents say that it will allow corporations and unions to drown out the voices of average Americans.

i personaly do not belive that this is a very wise judgement by the suprem courts....this will allow the greedy corperations even more power then they already have leading to a purely capatilsistic system of hate and greed.

The 183-page decision promises to completely change the way independent spending on elections is conducted.
ReplyDeleteIn Citizens v. Federal Election Commission, the justices in a large sense have erased the subtle but important distinction between corporate donors, which are subject to regulation, and individual donors,who are largely are not.
I think that allowing this to take place is a bad decision. It allows corporations to have a greater say than the American people
