9 Teenagers Are Charged After Classmate’s Suicide
Last week in Massachusetts, nine high school students between the ages of 16 and 18 were charged with various felony crimes in the suicide death of 15 year old Phoebe Prince (pictured above).
Prosecutors said that the students charged were responsible for taunting and physical threats that led the freshman to hang herself from a stairwell at her home in January.

I thnk that they should be prosocuted becuase they were a result in a child dying. they should be held accountable for there actions. personally i think that people bully others becuase of what they have and i think that the other people want to be like they for example: the bullys. i have never ever oncec been bullied in my life and ill never ever bully anyone no matter what. i know that some people do pick on others but not enough to hurt them or phase them.

ReplyDelete2.i think people bully people cause they think it's funny to watch kids suffer and even in some rare cases there are times when they are bullied because they are better or smarter than some people.
3.If people would just mind there own bussiness and stop being immature i think a lot of the bullying would stop.

5.yes there are the select few who are bullied like 24-7 and if you see someone being bbullied you could tell someone or just step in and stick up for the person gettin bullied
Yes i do think that the students bullying Phoebe should be prosecuted because they had no right in doing what they did and it was their own actions and they should of thought about what they were doing before they did it. I think students bully others because they want to feel strong and over powering like they are in control. BUllying could be lessened by having the students not be afride to go talk to someone and for the teachers to be understanable and not to take thingss out of hand. NO i have never been bullyed and no i havent bullied other kids. yes students are harassed ofen by the kids that think they are cool and they have no worries but i bet they wonuldn't like it if it had happen to them.

5.the climate at our school is very seprated...what i meen by that comment is that everyone has a certain group that they tend to fit into....and other people tend to lash out on the people that do not fit the ideal immige of their group.
i think that these boys should be disiplined but not harshly because it was this girls decision to hang herself, they didnt kill her they just bullied her. plus they have to live the rest of there lifes knowing they were the reason a girl killed herself, that is punishment enough

ReplyDelete2. I think the reason for bullying is because of jelousy, and just straight up wanting to hurt other kids . . intentional or not its wrong.
3. the truth is nothing really can be done , detention doesnt work suspention doest work nothing works, the kids should of had there butts kicked by their parents like the old days.

i think they all should be sentenced to death cause you can tell they did this because they were jealous. they were all butt ugly so they were jealous of the girl. NO i dont. Never been bullied. tocorrect this problem we need to really deal out severe punishments.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think the students should be prosecuted for their actions but I think they should be in a lot of trouble. In my opinion I think students bully others to make them feel better about themselves. Teachers and schools could help stop bullying by making sure they aren’t in their classrooms. I haven’t been bullied or bullied others because I know it’s wrong to do. I don’t think there is a lot of bullying at our school.

ReplyDelete2. I think that students bully others because they feel as if they are not good enough. People often like to make others miserable when they are miserable.

5. Kids are harrased and such at our school but I do not think that it is out of hand. If I see someone getting bullied I always stand up for them.
I think the 6 teens should be in a lot of trouble and she go to another school to help them not bully people over dating someone else. Ms. Prince should not have got bullied from them 6 teens, it is not right to bully a new student. The students that bullied her should be put away for a while and the 2 boys that had sex with her should be but in jail and not let out. It is not right for a teen to go though there life knowing that they had sex with 2 boys that bullied her sense she arrived at their school. People in our school are just as bad, it is amazing that someone has not killed them self because of all the bulling going on here. Kids don’t understand a lot of new people, but they should just get to know them instead of spreading rumors about them. I have got bullied this year in the begging but now we are friend, there was rumors going around and that I was going to get beat up because of a guy in school that I barley talk to. We should have bulling classes in our school because a lot of students need it.
ReplyDeleteI think that every student that was involved should be prosecuted.What they did is terrible. I think that people bully others to make themselves feel superior. What sucks about bullying is that it has always gone on and it always will, nothing can stop it. Luckily i have never been bullied, my school really doesnt have much bullying taking place.
ReplyDeleteI think this article goes to show what bullying can drive people to do. Name calling isnt that bad, but stalking and physically hurting people crosses the line. People get called names all the time. It used to happen to me when i was younger, but i just ignored it and went my own way. I believe that the students that are involved with this suicide should be prosecuted because people can only take so much and if you keep after them things like this are bound to happen. I think that students bully others because they think it makes them look cool around their friends or an intimidation factor, who knows?. Ive seen bullying happening in our school, mostly toward the gays and the mentally slower kids. There was a case where a gay kid got beat up during a practice and ive watched another gay kid get pushed into a locker because the kid just doesnt like gays. I think its a problem that will never be stopped.
