Looking Back: Your Personal 9/11 Experience

What do you remember about the events of 9/11/01?

  1. i was in second grade and i remember the teacher turing the tv on and everyone getting quiet and some people were crying

  2. i remember sitting in ms harrisons class and all the teachers talking about it outside their rooms while the news was on. the only other thing i remember was coming home and my mom was watching the news and i asked her what was going on and she told me that bad people flew planes into big building in new york.

  4. I was in first grade when the guy on the intercom said scaercly a plane hit the world trade center and everybody in class is going crazy after watching what happened

I remember sitting in Mrs. Claar's 4th grade class waiting to go outside for recess when the attacks were happening...at the time i had no idea what was going on until i got home and saw my parents watching the news and the videos of the planes hitting the towers and the towers collapsing repeatedly.

    I remember sitting in my second grade classroom watching on tv the carnage that the terrorists had brought upon the twin towers and the awestruck look on the teachers face when we had seen the towers burning and crumbling

  7. i was in second grade in ms. stevers and an announcment came over the loud speaker in the elementary classroom and i want to say we were doin math but not 100% sure..but they announced it over the speaker and all the teachers turned the tvs on and started goin from classroom to classroom and talking. then there was a hole bunch of kids and i was one of them our parents came and got us out of school early. and when i got home i wasnt sure on wat everything that had happened but i do no the at it wasnt the same cause everyone was quiet and just sat there watchin the news.

  8. i was in mrs yoders 2nd grade class when we got an annocment saying about it then my teacher turned on the tv and started crying and went to talk to the other teachers an then we went home and m mom was talking about it then she didnt wanna explain t to me cuz she said i wouldnt understand then she started crying

  9. i am remember back when i was in second grade, the anouncement went off saying that the twin towers got destroyed. once i heard tat the planes wrecck i was scared, i did not know what to do. when i got home i went in my bedroom and hide for almost the whole day until it was time for school again. i hope we dont get attack again, our army, military, air force needs to pay more attention what is coming in and out of the united states.

  11. i was in 2nd grade and i didnt hear anything about it in school,but when i got home my mom told me what happened. i was pretty much clueless, but i remember that we had to go to the community park that night and they held a ceromony and the firefighters,and ems were there plus lots of other people.
