2/19/10 - Digital_Nation Question 3

  1. The tech helped our military by reducing the casulties because the predator drone deffinatly killed more terrorists then drones killed and then our soldiers dont have to kill as many.

  2. How have video games such as Call of Duty helped our military forces? First, these games that the young new soldiers play show what they can do to help the effort in the war against Afghanistan. Next, It attracts us and shows us what war is like even though it is all fictional. Finally, It shows we have all the new recruits around the USA that would be a perfect member of our US army.

  3. I think that the idea of using video games and virtual reality technology to help soldiers with post traumatic stress. Also I think that using video games to reach kids to one day join the army is a great idea because other than doing games they are deciding to serve out country.

  4. I agree with Brandon about giving something to the soldiers. The soldiers that are about to be diployed or may have come back finally will be in intence stress. Video games would seriouly relieve the soldiers. Also, Using games to recruit new soldiers is also a good idea. Many people today don't think to join the army but through video games might change their views.

  7. Chistian, you have a great point. The predator drones are one of the best ideas that our nation has produced. Allowing people to control them from 1000s of miles away helps greatly to reduce casualties.
(Odoyle Rules! Stop looking at me Swan! So sorry to interrupt. Did the penguin tell you about this?)
